The combination of yuzu and black sesame is an unparalleled flavor matchup only rivaled by peanut butter and jelly that the world needs to know about. Its supremacy can be tested in something as simple as between two slices of bread, or in this case, topped onto a buttery pastry as a danish as yuzu curd and black sesame cream. Yuzu juice, sugar, and eggs are simmered into a smooth curd while black sesame gets whipped into a sweet cream. 1 sheet (8 ounces) frozen puff pastry, thawed
1 egg white, for egg wash
Roasted black sesame seeds, for sprinkling
